BCK-IBI Group recently completed two lab projects at Mudd Hall. At the Goldberg Lab, our team renovated 1,300 sq. ft. of lab space for the Program Animal Research Facility. The lab included five animal procedure rooms that adhered to specific environmental and finish requirements, environmentally controlled chambers, and observation and monitoring systems. The space was mechanically designed to include specific temperature and humidity settings for the animal experiment stations and containment cubicles.
For the Warden Lab, we renovated 1,600 sq. ft. of a biological research lab for programmed animal procedures, research, surgery, imaging, and acclimation rooms. The renovation was designed with multiple direct ventilation systems at surgical research stations. Mechanical systems were designed to the specific research procedure requirements.
