BCK-IBI Group’s in-house team of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers works closely with architects to seamlessly integrate the M/E/P systems into the building design and layout without compromising system design. M/E/P systems are selected to maximize energy and water efficiency, while taking into consideration ease of future maintenance needs. Total building energy models are created to evaluate potential cost savings. Examples of design selections that are typically considered include: high efficiency equipment, energy efficient lighting, instantaneous hot water heating, digital controls, and low-flow/no-flow plumbing fixtures. The careful consideration and selection of these systems will reduce operating costs over the life of the buildings.
